SWISS CHESS ACADEMY E LA SUA STORIA
SwissCHessAcademy nasce come Associazione a Lugano l’8 gennaio 2018. Grazie all’incontro avuto durante il Festival Scacchi di Basilea fra l’organizzatore Claudio Boschetti (SwissCHessTour e BaselCHessFestival) e il grande maestro Vladimir Lazarev. In seguito ad una breve chiacchierata, davanti ad un caffè, i due scoprono di non avere solamente molti interessi in comune, ma che insieme avrebbero dovuto collaborare ad un progetto straordinario: costituire una prima “università degli scacchi” nel luganese. Il progetto SwissCHessAcademy nasce dalla forte esperienza competitiva, nonché organizzativa, formativa e didattica dei due che si conobbero una ventina d’anni prima durante la manifestazione Open Air “Scacco alla Piazza” proprio a Lugano. Grazie alle loro straordinarie conoscenze nel mondo degli scacchi decidono di creare, assieme alle proprie compagne di vita, un innovativo centro “tutto scacchi” che offrisse, oltre al centro formativo scolastico, un vero e proprio riferimento per tutti coloro che amano il “nobil gioco”, giovani o meno giovani, esordienti, appassionati o giocatori da torneo. L’Academy intende collaborare con tutte le organizzazioni regionali, nazionali ed internazionali che perseguono interessi comuni; senza mai volersi mettere in concorrenza.
Da diversi anni Claudio Boschetti gestisce, accanto al suo impegno di organizzatore di tornei internazionali, di arbitro e giocatore amatoriale, una “Scuola Scacchi” nel Canton Ticino assieme a diversi collaboratori all’uopo di poter offrire lezioni di scacchi nei dopo-scuola delle scuole elementari e medie, oppure lezioni private. Dal 2017 è divenuto anche “chess coach” presso la high school Tasis (scuola americana) di Montagnola. Vladimir Lazarev invece non vanta solamente l’esperienza di professionista di scacchi ma detiene, come pure la sua compagna, la grande maestra femminile Anda Safranska, il diploma di Trainer ufficiale della Federazione Mondiale (Fide) di scacchi. Ha sufficiente esperienza per tenere seminari per tutti i livelli di forza, allenare squadre, commentare partite e/o impartire lezioni online e via Skype.
Accanto ai fondatori si sono uniti al progetto accademico anche due docenti universitari: il maestro Fide e professore presso l’università di Milano, Giorgio Pasini, e il docente di comunicazione, docente universitario fino al 2015 presso la SUPSI di Lugano, grande appassionato di scacchi e presidente del Circolo Scacchistico Mendrisio, prof. Pier Paolo Pedrini.
Fa i membri fondatori troviamo anche Ewa Boschetti (moglie di Claudio), esperta in gestione aziendale, già Direttore Nazionale Marketing di una grossa Multinazionale americana. La sua esperienza completa perfettamente l’ambizioso progetto.
SwissCHessAcademy ha quindi a sua disposizione istruttori di scacchi di fama internazionale, docenti universitari, psicologi come il presidente del Circolo Scacchistico Luganese e ottimo giocatore, Vladimiro Paleologu e, lo scrittore-docente di Tradate, Giulio Grigioni, e dal 2022 anche l’attuale presidente del circolo Roberto Cattomio e il maestro internazionale Damir Levacic.
Questo staff formativo ha posato la sua prima pietra per poter creare la prima vera e propria “Università degli Scacchi” svizzera: la International SwissCHessAcademy di Lugano.
SWISS CHESS ACADEMY AND ITS HISTORY
SwissCHessAcademy was born as an Association in Lugano on 8 January 2018. Thanks to the meeting held during the Basel Chess Festival between the organizer Claudio Boschetti (SwissCHessTour and BaselCHessFestival) and the great master Vladimir Lazarev. After a brief chat over a coffee, the two discover that they not only have many interests in common, but that together they should have collaborated on an extraordinary project: to set up a first "chess university" in the Lugano area. The SwissCHessAcademy project was born from the strong competitive, as well as organizational, training and didactic experience of the two who met about twenty years earlier during the Open Air event "Scacco alla Piazza" in Lugano. Thanks to their extraordinary knowledge in the world of chess, they decide to create, together with their life partners, an innovative "all chess" center that offers, in addition to the school training center, a real reference point for all those who love the "noble game". ”, young or old, rookies, enthusiasts or tournament players. The Academy intends to collaborate with all regional, national and international organizations pursuing common interests; without ever wanting to compete.
For several years Claudio Boschetti has been managing, alongside his commitment as organizer of international tournaments, arbiter and amateur player, a "Chess School" in the Canton of Ticino together with various collaborators with the aim of being able to offer chess lessons in after-school schools elementary and middle school, or private lessons. Since 2017 he has also become a "chess coach" at the Tasis high school (American school) in Montagnola. Vladimir Lazarev, on the other hand, not only boasts the experience of a chess professional but holds, as well as his partner, the great female teacher Anda Safranska, the diploma of official Trainer of the World Chess Federation (Fide). He has sufficient experience to teach seminars for all strength levels, coach teams, comment on matches and/or give lessons online and via Skype.
Alongside the founders, two university professors also joined the academic project: Maestro Fide and professor at the University of Milan, Giorgio Pasini, and the professor of communication, university professor until 2015 at SUPSI in Lugano, a great chess enthusiast and president of the Mendrisio Chess Club, prof. Pier Paolo Pedrini.
Among the founding members we also find Ewa Boschetti (Claudio's wife), an expert in business management, former National Marketing Director of a large American multinational. Her experience completes this ambitious project perfectly.
SwissCHessAcademy therefore has at its disposal internationally renowned chess instructors, university professors, psychologists such as the president of the Lugano Chess Club and excellent player, Vladimiro Paleologu and, the writer-teacher of Tradate, Giulio Grigioni, and from 2022 also the current president of the Roberto Cattomio circle and the international master Damir Levacic.
This training staff laid the foundation stone to be able to create the first real Swiss "Chess University": the International SwissCHessAcademy in Lugano.
